Printer; Epson Stylus Color 480
The machine prints one page and after finishing that page, the control programs shows "Unknown error, call epson service ".
After this, no more prints can be made, until reseting computer.But after one print shows the same error.
The OS is Win ME
any idea?

It is there to make sure the waste ink pads dont get full and over flow into the printer. It is worth taking the cover off and check the white pads at the rear, if they are black they need replacing. Otherwise you can reset the counter. The easiest way is using the SSC program inkjetprinterhelp.us its free. And you can use the reset protection counter function to reset them.

Any recourse for a Mac user.
